Ultra Adventures hosts some of the most spectacular ultramarathon courses in North America, showcasing incredibly scenic and challenging races across the Southwest's Grand Circle, one of the most special regions in the country. 

These are more than races. They're true adventures that bring you deep into the historic and sacred lands of Utah and Arizona. Now under the direction of Aravaipa Running, Ultra Adventures is reuniting the Tushars with the classic Zion Ultras, Bryce Canyon Ultras, and Antelope Canyon ultras in 2026 and beyond.

None of this exists without Matt Gunn. Matt founded Ultra Adventures in 2012 with the Zion 100 and spent years building a series of races that opened up the Grand Circle to runners from around the world. His vision, his love for this region and his care for the people who came out to run it are the foundation of what Ultra Adventures was and what we build on today. We're honored to carry it forward.
