Join us for Stunner Night Runs at the beautiful Usery Mountain Regional Park. This flat and fast course utilizes the Chain Fruit, Lost Sheep, Channel, and Blevins Trails. Wind through Chain Fruit cholla at the base of Pass Mountain.

This race is part of the 2024 Insomniac Night Trail Run Series with events all across the state of Arizona.

Additional Race Info

Parking in Usery is very limited. There will be space at the main staging area that will be reserved for 50K and 25K runners. Once that fills parking will be in designated spots along the road (up to a quarter mile walk to the staging area). After these spaces fill we will have a shuttle for runners from the group campground. This is 1 mile from the starting line, but plan to arrive early so that you can hop on the bus, which will be running continuously.

*Please reserve parking near the event site for 50K and 25K runners. 12K and 6K runners plan to park at the group campground and utilize the shuttle. Plan to arrive early as Usery has only 1 lane at the entry gate which can and will get backed up.

As a reminder, the park charges a $7 park entry fee per vehicle.
Please arrive early and have correct change (cash), or card available on race evening for a smooth entry process. Carpool to save!

The race courses will be well marked with orange plastic ribbons with black polka dots and reflective medallions. Trail junctions and turns will be well marked with laminated signs. In addition, blue & white checkerboard plastic flagging will be hung to designate non-race or “WRONG WAY” trails. All runners are responsible for understanding the layout of the course. Please familiarize yourself with the course maps on our website prior to race day and/or download the gpx file to your phone.

We will have our MedStar Solutions medical staff based at the start / finish headquarters to assist with first aid onsite. We reserve the right to pull you from the race if medical officials deem it necessary.
NOTE: Please do NOT call 911 in a medical emergency. Our medical team is highly trained and understands the terrain and driving access points. Please call the race day number and they will dispatch immediately.

Pets
For the safety of all runners, no pets are allowed on-course at the night runs. Any pets at the race must be on a leash at all times, respect park rules, and be supervised.

Camping
For overnight camping, Usery Mountain Regional Park offers 76 individual sites for tent or RV camping. Each site has a large parking area to accommodate up to a 45′ RV with water and electrical hook-ups, dump station, a picnic table and a barbecue fire ring. All restrooms offer flush toilets and showers. All sites in the campground may be reserved online at Maricopa County Parks.

Trail Running and Trash
Please respect the trails and the beauty of the desert by disposing of any trash at one of our aid stations.

Reminder: All Insomniac Night trail runs will be CUPLESS. Bring your own or Aravaipa branded reusable cups will be available for purchase!
