Held on the gorgeous, thrilling and rolling trails of Castle Rock’s Miller Park & Ridgeline Trail systems. While not overly technical, these trails will challenge and excite, as you soak up the amazing views. This is an excellent race for both first-time and veteran trail runners, and provides a nice test for those who are training for longer summer events. A portion of proceeds of the race benefit the open spaces and trails of Castle Rock, and our partner charities.

There are two cup-free aid stations on course that runners will hit multiple times, depending on the race distance. Aid stations will provide water, electrolyte drink (Tailwind), sweet snacks, salty snacks, and fruit.

Crew: There is no crew.  You can have your crew sign up for a 6 hour shift at an aid station and they can help you that way.  Any crew found helping a runner unless they are working a volunteer shift will result in the runner being disqualified from the event.  Our permit does not allow any crew.

Pacers:  ALL PACERS MUST CARRY THE REQUIRED GEAR WHICH IS THE SAME AS THE RUNNER AND THEY MUST HAVE A GEAR CHECK BEFORE PACING. 

You can have pacers from Sawyer River Road to the finish.  You will not be allowed to leave cars so you will need to make arrangements to have your pacer dropped off. NO MULING ALLOWED

Runners will be permitted to leave a drop bag at the start/finish line in a weather sealed bag.

There are no pacers or crew permitted at the Jigger Johnson 20 Mile due to trailhead size restriction. Crew, family & spectators are encouraged to meet runners in Waterville Valley at the start/finish line.
