Andrew Hutchinson

This is my first year on the Racing Team, but I’ve been running since I was 12 years old. I competed in cross country and track & field in college, and since graduating I’ve shifted my focus to trail racing, from sub-ultra to 50-mile. I’m an East Coast boy through and through, currently living in south-central Pennsylvania, and I love running (and occasionally falling down) our rocky, rooted, and punchy trails. Outside of running, I’m a 4th–12th grade band teacher and XCTF coach, where I’m passionate about teaching, music, and working with people. At home, I’m supported by my wonderful wife, a cat that loves to scratch me, a chameleon named Herbie, and a betta fish who, at the time of writing, has not yet been eaten by the cat. When I’m not teaching, coaching, or running, I enjoy skimo, mountain biking, climbing, cooking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
