As we continue to evolve as a running company and do our best to bring you the greatest events around, we have created all new logos for our Desert Runner Trail Series (DRT) that will begin on October 10th at the Cave Creek Regional Park and concludes in March with our Mesquite Trail Runs at White Tank Mountain Regional Park.
The series passes have refreshed design as they’ll encompass their own Sonoran Desert bird, specific to each distance level. We’ve even added an Evolution style pass for the fall (and spring) series called the Phoenix Pass that will give you the opportunity to build from an 11 Km to 25 Km to 50 Km! The Phoenix Pass for the Spring Series will take runners from a 9 Km to 50 Km over four races!
You asked for it, we listened: our Desert Runner Trail Series will now include our Quail (Short Series) & Roadrunner (Mid Series) passes in the DRT Series Standings and will get their own podium awards at the conclusion of the series!
In Spring of 2020, we added in a Hummingbird (Mini) Series for those of you looking to zip around the trails while sitting in the 5Km range for all four races. Super fun distance to keep things interesting! For more information on the series competition, head here.
If you haven’t had a chance to run these trails, here is a great opportunity! Our Thriller course uses the Maricopa Trail (50 Km & 24 Km) and traverses some great single track within the regional park. The Pass Mountain trail runs skirt the gorgeous Goldfield mountain range and Tonto National Forest trails while the McDowell Mountain Frenzy travels over all sorts of terrain within the regional park and McDowell Sonoran Preserve.

This is a bit of a play on our Evolution Pass & Phoenix Passes. The Resolution Pass is a way for you, as a runner, to set a goal in the fall and keep it intact through the New Year on your way to completing a 50 mile race at our Mesquite Canyon Trail Runs on March 6th. Six races spread out over five months that build from a 10 Km race to the epic 50 mile distance in March!
